Midway through the DGW and 51 isn't too bad but Salah's spent and my only tot attack @bri is Son, could be a painful stagger unwinding as thoughts turn to FHC.

I'm not really looking to treble-up up top, Zaha & Arnie can create some good wedge to invest well at the back.

If Kun's back then I'll probably bottle it and go KDB in a 3-5-2 and if Bobby gets a rest maybe Mane.

The heavy Burnley keepers is just to get bur def cover without using a defender spot.

Not sure on captaincy but if Salah starts maybe he edges it.

No.5 is alive.
vsberlina
Mane and Bobby cost the same, but Mane has been doing better lately.
Different positions though, so I guess it's who you want where.

Then there's the rotation risk of Robertson. VVD safer? Karius?

If you fancy Pope, why not start Long then?

Coleman AND Baines?

Silva or Sane? Why waste a City spot on a DEF when their attackers are so much better.

I really can't see cleanies, so I'd spend what I want up front and then choose the DEF from what's left.
Don't worry about 'attacking' threat of DEF. Just get attackers for attacking threat. laugh.gif

JFG

What's the goal threat rating for Calum Chambers? Feels like he's been getting some shots off.
Dunno the quality of them, but might be better than Mustafi and frees up units.

Bobby allows a better b1 for the money but Klopp could rest him, sore neck.

I think Robbo had a bit of an injury @eve? Should be okay as long as he's fit but I could probably find enough for VVD.

Don't really want to start a bur def when so much attacking threat is available elsewhere.

Baines instead of Kompany? Dunno, spread the risk?

Not sure I want a triple-up citeh attackers but I suppose Sane might be the better homer?

Well assuming Zaha is almost essential it's only really the Arnie spot that could be upgraded? No real point weakening the defence significantly to upgrade Arnie when he could easily outscore the expensive replacement?

Since Moyes started putting Arnie up top v che he's got 101 pts in 14 games @7.2ppm - 9g 5a ohmy.gif The way Gooners are defending atm I'd fancy him to increase that tally.

Salah KDB Sterling Mane
Aguero Aubameyang Firmino

Impressive, but looks a flat track bully. Punished BOU, HUD & SOU for 47 pts, but nothing @ home vs ARS when they met earlier in the year. I'd still rather back a LIV or City player, given we have the units and the bench in case they get rested.
But given they have EL and MAN after WHU, Wenger might put out another B team.

Sometimes having too many units is a bad thing. sad.gif

If they had the form, I'd go for it. But KDB has blanked in around the last 7, and Zaha, Mili, Arnie and Perez have been so good. Even guys like Barnes and JRod could be thrown in if the others hadn't done so well.

Masuaku an attacking threat. Long also a threat with 1G 2 A from 11 starts.
If Kiko 4.3 hadn't been subbed early last game, he'd be in my team given he's playing AM.

Bit too brave for me, can see Hammers scoring 2+ so he'd have to score to beat a cleanie? Think I'd prefer someone who might get a cleanie and could get a goal or an assist, cleanie 1st though laugh.gif

Auba's actually under the 0.08 line, just, because of his pen miss v citeh. Sample too small though, only 5 homes. Looks the best striker this week as long as Hammers don't frustrate.

Poch just told me he will rotate players for tomorrow night's game. Lucas Moura is pushing for a start and Llorente is back now in contention after his problem the other day. Poch didn't want to go into it as it was a private matter. Toby Alderweireld will be in the squad he said

Wonder what the line-up will be SC? huh.gif

I can see Kane getting rested, and probably Eriksen.
Kane's been misfiring and probably needs the rest so soon after his injury. Need them at their best for MAN.

Lukaku is still a mother though. Could have been a massive differential. angry.gif

I always said heíd rotate. I predicted 5 changes from the City game and not sure Iíd change that. Still donít think Kane will be rested. This is what I predicted in your RMT last week:

Lloris, Aurier, Toby/Sanchez, Vertonghen, Rose, Wanyama, Dier, Alli, Eriksen, Lamela, Kane

I didn’t know about Rose’s injury then so Davies will play. Sanchez had a poor game and Poch has said Toby will be in the squad so maybe he gets a start. I predicted Son and Lamela would get a start each, just the wrong way round. For what its worth, I think Poch got it the wrong way round. So I’d maybe now predict:

Lloris, Aurier, Toby, Vertonghen, Davies, Wanyama, Eriksen/Dier, Alli, Son, Lucas, Kane

So not a huge difference. Two from Eriksen, Dier and Alli should start, depending on how Poch wants us to play and who he thinks could do with a rest. Don’t see Llorente starting as he’s only started 1 league game all season. Some people think Kane looked tired or unfit vs City. I thought he looked rusty, not tired so I think he’ll play.

The fact that he didn't even travel probably answers that. I was surprised he wasn't at least on the bench, even if I take out that he was in my FPL side. He'd have been useful to come on last night because the subs we brought on had no impact at all. He got whacked loads vs Stoke and got some hard challenges vs City as well. I'm guessing he got a little knock vs City because he got taken off late on which made no sense really.
Netley Lucas
With West Ham having been a bit laboured last 2 I'm wondering if squeezing KDB in over Arnie might be the right thing to do? He's expensive but it's not impossible due to the plethora of cheapish defenders, some of them really attacking too.

Clearly bumping a 7 to a 10 reduces options at the back so maybe best just to target those who can and have got attacking returns. Robbo & PvA are moderately priced and Long has 1g 2a 3cs in his 11 games, he's what Mee should have been so may as well ride the luck @sto. Keepers? Can't afford Coleman or Baines so Pickford and his back-up are probably next best eve 'def' option and aren't expensive. Kiko's a nice b2 and defensive minded Dummett's the ideal 5th, the last resort.

It's getting a bit heavy towards the front but still not a bad defence, not scraping the barrel or scrapping the barrel, yet. laugh.gif

Spurs Crew
We've got pretty much the same front 7, with my Sane to your KDB. So obviously I really like your attackers.

I think you're slightly misunderstanding people who are picking Baines and/or Coleman. I'm picking one or both of them because they offer attacking threat. Coleman gets forward all the time, a bit like Alonso, and Baines is on set pieces and probably pens. I'm not that convinced they'll get a CS but I'm not convinced many teams will, so I'm focusing on picking a defence that can get points at both ends of the pitch. So I'm not sure about the Pickford one, I'd sooner go with Pope.

Well considering I had Coleman in when I had Arnie I think I'm well aware I wasn't spending 6.4 for a cleanie mate, give me some credit lol.gif Can't get Pope & Heaton in if I go KDB. Not expecting an eve cleanie tbh but they can be quite tight at home as evidenced with 2 cleanies last 3 so not impossible.
Netley Lucas
If Robbo gets rested then VVD could come in but I'd have to edge Mili down to a 4.5. Likewise Baines could come in but then it gets a bit messy re keepers. Let's see if PvA is a defensive defender SC... laugh.gif

What are you talking about? I think you've misunderstood me. You said you've picked Pickford because you can't afford Baines or Coleman. That doesn't make sense because the only reason in my opinion to consider Everton defence/GK options is if they have attacking threat. Not worth it otherwise, so Pickford isn't cover for them.

Why do you need Pope and Heaton? What's wrong with Pope and Hennessey?

You literally said you couldn't afford Baines or Coleman so are going with Pickford. And no, I don't think Everton will keep a CS with the form Newcastle are in. Still think Baines could get something attacking wise though, hence why he's in my team.

And here you are changing the subject to try and score a point, cute tongue.gif

I don't have KDB because I choose not to. He has 1 attacking return in his last 6 games. I'd rather have Sterling, Sane and Jesus as my 3 City picks. I'd even rather have Silva than KDB. Paying an extra 0.5 for Salah is having absolutely no effect at all. It's only 0.5.
