QUOTE (PTC @ May 15 2016, 02:39 PM) *
What happened with Doom today? Was it just the bad weather that cost him?

I was just reading that he said he "didn't have the legs" today. I am sure the weather contributed. But he says he is now focused mainly on the TT next week, not the GC. Hopefully he will feel differently after the rest break, but there is a big mountain stage Tuesday that he is concerned about after today's performance.

Where's your California team? I don't see it in your league. Did you confirm it?

Doesn't my team automatically go into the league I created?

I'll check later, when the velo site is working.

If my team wasn't saved and entered in the game I will kill the league, kill the website and kick the dog. biggrin.gif

No believe it or not, you need to enter your own league after you create it. blink.gif

I'm sure you saved your team, otherwise I guess I win the league. laugh.gif

Great timing by Sagan.

Boni got me 6th place.

Not sure about anyone beyond 10th.

That money spent on Cav was a wise investment. cool.gif

They were showing an interview of Sagan saying he did not think he could win this year due to the mountains. Then look what he does. thumbsup.gif

Funny that we have 4 riders in common. Bad sign for me right away. At one time I had Wippert in my team but I changed him because I was 2 units too high on the budget. angry.gif

Powless gets me points for 13th.

Still never heard of him.

Did you know that Sagan has a big brother...and that said big brother is in this race?

Clearly Peter got the good looks in the family. biggrin.gif

He rode with him during some of the Spring Classics. Never got a good look at him until you mentioned it. Maybe if he earns some good money he can get a makeover.

And so it continues.

Cancellera is done.

But so is Landa, and that's bad news for those of us who are fighting to avoid finishing fourth. sad.gif

Wouldn't be surprised if Doom drops out soon as well.

Both of those hurt but especially Landa who was my top pick going in.

This is why I refuse to take seriously anything fantasy-related. Too much randomness and luck involved to do well, especially over the course of a 3-week event like this.

These formats that don't allow transfers are just cruel when your expensive superstar pick can't be replaced.

At this rate I'll be lucky to have 3 riders left in the last week. biggrin.gif

Well, that solved nothing. rolleyes.gif

We both have Ala, and it's your Bookwalter/Morton vs my Powless/Dennis.

Honours even, pretty much.

I enjoyed that finish, and that was a great pick of yours with Powless - I thought he would keep the lead to the top.

Actually I believe I have the slight edge here - we both have Dennis, and I have Zubielda and Craddock who both finished in the top 15. dirol.gif

When Powless went I was happy, but I knew he wouldn't last.

Lots of climbing still to do in this race, and that Cavendish pick is an expensive bust. I expected him to compete in both sprints, and all he gave me was...

You really should get me soon, and your squad is strong so you could do well overall.

Any idea how many people joined the game? The site doesn't say, which is weird, considering they show it for all their other games.
