Next up is the Fantasy Spring Classics. 11 one day races. A bit different - you get up to 24 transfers during the series.

I tried it a couple of years ago. Very challenging to manage with juggling the different start lists wisely for each race.

I'll pass on that one. Too complicated for my liking.

Post your teams, though, so we can commiserate at your failures. biggrin.gif

I'll give it a quick look. thumbsup.gif

Cancellara should certainly come into consideration after that display ohmy.gif

League Name: Starting 11 classics

There we are.

No room for Van Avermaet and Sagan for now. Seems I haven't learned anything from the T-A biggrin.gif

Thanks, I'll be joining later. I haven't started to put together a team yet but it sounds foreboding if you can't squeeze those two in - they were the first two to join in my mind. ohmy.gif

Milan-San Remo is different from the other races though, so I'm quite sprinter heavy atm. Kristoff is mighty expensive too you know biggrin.gif

Actually, he's pretty expensive. 2 units cheaper than Matthews and 2 more than ebh.

Managed to get Van Avermaet and Kristoff in one team. Sagan will be my first transfer most likely biggrin.gif

.

I'm in and I have Sagan and van Avermaet, but not Kristoff. Not clear on the rest of my team. A squad of 12 means a few cheap ones are in. Hope they can contribute. smile.gif

So where's the BRFC team?

I'm sure you are well ahead with Kristoff. Good of you to insist he is in. thumbsup.gif

Not in the top 25% even ohmy.gif

Turned out a very different race from what I was expecting.

I only have 5 starting in the Dwars Door Vlaanderen, and I think I will be taking a hit on this one given that it is a category 2 race. Saving transfers for later.

Transferred Terpstra in. Couldn't resist. The pull of chauvinism was too strong biggrin.gif

EDIT: And got Chavanel, with a focus on other races, but mainly this one. He's out ill rolleyes.gif

Although reports suggest it is still going ahead, if the race is cancelled will you get your transfers back?

I got them back anyway. Don't know why. Didn't ask. Took the transfers and ran.

I ended up swapping in Sebastien Turgot from Ag2R for the DDV- but today he withdrew. I want a refund! angry2.gif

Edit: Actually they let me return to the original team by clicking reset transfers. cool.gif

A lot of withdrawals including the entire Giant-Alpecin team. But the race will still go on. thumbsup.gif

How about that Debusschere pick? biggrin.gif

Much better result than I had thought. I think I am set for the E3 Haralbeke Friday. At this point all but one of my riders are in except Debusschere, and he is back for the race after that. thumbsup.gif

Very lucky pick. I'm sure I'll have my chance to be humbled in these races very soon. tongue.gif
