BRFC, the only place I've been that's on your list is Kunming. Which parts of Kunming will you be visiting? That place is really pretty and to be honest, probably the least polluted areas of China.

Yeah, about that: in bangkok atm. Anyone with less than obvious tips? The food here is just awesome. Getting fatter by the day. Eat the Thai food. Eat as much as you want, you won't put on weight. Eat Maccas and BK and you will. ![]() If I knew you were going to Thailand a lot earlier, I'd have given you a list of places to go to. -------------------- Love EPL Fantasy Football? Try these. The food is awesome and I hate the burger chains. Som tam, tom ka kai and pad thai all day everyday! And yes, I know I'm spelling it wrong. |

Visit one if you can. Check it out on the web first, but I'm sure you'll love it. Visit Kobe as well. He's somewhere near Sukhumvit. ![]() -------------------- Love EPL Fantasy Football? Try these. Hopefully for 4-5 weeks. But I'll be in touch once that plan comes to fruition. |

I'm travelling next week on vacation incidently.
My first visit to Canada. Couple in Toronto - standard Niagara falls (never seen it, so I guess I have to go). But looking forward to the 3 days in Quebec city and around. Going to give this canyoning thingy a go. http://canyoning-quebec.com/en/ Have some undecided time in Toronto and Quebec City, any suggestions ? -------------------- Clinging on to fantrax nostalgia.

Going to give this canyoning thingy a go. http://canyoning-quebec.com/en/ Have some undecided time in Toronto and Quebec City, any suggestions ? as far as visiting waterfalls, the one at quebec city is really really worth going (Montmorency Falls), as you can go up close to really feel the water splashing at you. i'd wear a jacket so you don't get soaked. rent a car and google your way there. there's a cafe up there and the burger is worth trying. i thoroughly enjoyed this much more than the visit to niagara falls. oh and speaking of which, the niagara falls has got a much better view from the toronto side, rather than the new york side. quebec city is well known for its french-canadian food. stroll along the old town and look for some hidden gems. there's one that's right in the middle of a garden called toast if i remember correctly. the picture vaguely resembles my memory. ![]() |
