Hey dudes

Just thought I'd open up a new thread for the upcoming season. Hope that's ok?

Haffey, are we having our draft positions early again? I want to get my Mock Draft on!

Also, do we have a draft time? I'm guessing it's not staying as noon UK time because that's kinda early for you guys across the pond.

Anyway, speak soon. Looking forward to the season!!

Yes, once I have an idea that everyone is back or we have a full league, I'll set the draft positions. Everyone looks like they automatically re-joined with how Yahoo has things setup now. I haven't heard anyone NOT coming back as of yet.

I had previously set the draft time when renewing the league to be Sat Aug 26 3:00pm EDT US. This is the same weekend (~day) as years previously. I likely won't be able to make it due to a prior commitment, so I'll be auto-drafting.

Looks like everyone is in the League as all 12 teams have been set up. Can we set up the league/draft order now? Would like to know my draft position for mock drafts etc.

Can't wait for the season to start!

I can confirm that myself, Fergs, Dags and Osian are playing.

I'll try to get them to post a message

Or, you could just change the sound of the "voice in your head" when you read his posts. May I recommend Eeyore or Snuffleupagus? "No wonder people think we're stupid" sounds fantastic with a sad sack rhythm.

I used to stay out late and try to walk the Muse home. Now I get up fresh-faced at 7 a.m. and take advantage of her while she's passing out.

Maybe I'll try it with Barney, that great purple monstrosity.

You may be surprised to hear that my voice is the complete opposite... it is more along the lines of Joe Pesci.

It is very annoying... apparently rolleyes.gif

Alright everyone, I've finalized the team list, even though I still haven't heard from everyone about re-joining. I went ahead and set the draft order so everyone can start mocking and reshuffled the schedule to mix things up.

The draft order was randomized by Yahoo via their commissioner tools as was the schedule. Time stamps are shown on the league homepage on the desktop site (not sure about mobile) under "Commish Updates" so you can see when this took place (and any other changes that may occur). Remember the draft is LIVE on Sat Aug 26 3:00pm Eastern US. Here is the draft order:

1. Ram Raiders

2. Pipli Boys

3. Meurig Manatees

4. RelegationDelegation

5. Ft. Mudge Possums

6. Rozinante Ravens

7. Patriots Legends

8. The O.M.B.

9. Fantastic Tackleball

10. Dagg's Disasters

11. Grangetown Gophers

12. Still Quinning

So...who are you looking at for round 1?

Johnson or Bell?

Feel free to lie a little to mess with the later pickers. wink.gif

Well, I think Johnson is a little safer than the pot-smoker, but I am tempted to take Antonio Brown because the receivers that come back to me in the 2nd round are complete an utter garbage.

You think your lot will be as good this year without Shanahan running things on the offence?
