Our glorious thread seems to have been mowed down brutally by the powers that be. Just when I finally recorded a victory too in Velogames. Life can be cruel.

Onto more important things: Froome! Fell! No tour!

Now Ineos has to choose between Thomas and Bernal. Whom will become the anointed one?

Thomas. He won already.

I also saw Movistar plan to have Quintana and Landa, who have both said they are racing for the GC, while Valverde has said he will ride for the team. Potential problems with multiple leaders or smart strategy, because someone always encounters difficulties (falls, mechanicals, etc.)?

I used to stay out late and try to walk the Muse home. Now I get up fresh-faced at 7 a.m. and take advantage of her while she's passing out.

Movistar have an amazing team and the set-up heavily favours the climbers. If Valverde really will ride for the team, Ineos have a challenge on their hands. I'd say Quintana would be the favourite to become the top dog.

Yates and Bardet as the important outsiders. Kruijswijk our hope for a top 5 place I'd say. Dumoulin? Don't see him going big this one.

Victory?

Velogames?

No idea what you're talking about. biggrin.gif

So Froome decided to blow his nose at 35mph without hands on his bike? Surely he could have just cleared his nostrils with one hand still in control of the bike. huh.gif I have no sympathy. He's an idiot.

Adam or the other one?

I think Doom will still be suffering from his own injuries. He won't podium.

Seriously? That's what happened? huh.gif

Way to throw away your shot at joining the legends of cycling.

It also likely didn't help that someone painted this on the wall the previous night. Road runner style. biggrin.gif

And today Thomas is injured.

I really do dislike rider injuries, but this shakes things up a lot for the Tour.

No idea who the favourite would be with Thomas not in the field.

Poels.

Thomas might just be ok I think?

Sagan back in form just in time as well. Complicating things.

Poels.

I know he's in form, having just done well in the dolphin race, but do you think they'd make him team leader ahead of Bernal?

Early, I know, but I'm writing off Thomas as a GC contender.

He's fine, actually. Just some cuts and bruises. I wonder whether he's the huge favourite though.
