Starting 11 Posting Guidelines

These guidelines are aimed and new and existing members alike. They are intended to help you create great topics and discussions. If we all follow best practice we will create a very powerful community and knowledge base for all our members.
Language barriers are always a problem, but by following a few simple steps we can ensure that we create concise, valuable and entertaining information for all members.

Creating a topic 101
  • Use a descriptive title
    Bad: "Who is the best?"
Good: "Who is the best Manchester United midfielder this week?"
  • Use the Topic Description wisely
This is not always needed when posting new topics, but can provide some useful extra information about the topic, and you are more likely to attract reader.

  • Describe your question/thoughts clearly
Bad: "Who is best this week?"
Good: "With Ronaldo injured, I think Nani will start and have a lot of the ball down the left, my question is, is Nani going to do better than Bentley this week who plays Stoke at home?"
  • If you are asking a question, remember to ask it!
A lot of members start a topic without any really point or question to it. These topics are likely to drop out of the first page very quickly. If you want an answer to something, don't be ambiguous, be descriptive and ask for it!
