Noted SPower. I never gain any advantage by running two teams as they never meet in the H2H leagues. I never set out to have both teams in the Rapids Classic. That's the bleeding website dumping both teams in there.
And also, I'll never win anything to worry others. Steps are being taken by me prevent this happening again. -------------------- Winner of Sultans Euro League 2016/17

An Apology ... For the past 5 or 6 MLS seasons, I've run two identical squads with a similar team name. To get to the point, I have been rumbled in a successful gameweek one for running more than one team. I have taken steps to change Team and Manager names, plus future player selections. The MLS website placed both teams in the Rapids Classic League and I could not alter the selection. I'm in the process of apologising to MLS players However, the consequences could well be my removal (Rules are Rules). I await the outcome. I sincerely hope the Starting 11 leagues remain active, no matter what. Albert p.s New team name is Armitage No worries, Albert. Appreciate your efforts in setting up (and advertising) both the Classic & H2H leagues. ![]() However, I've been looking at the scoring details and player price changes after week 1, and it looks like the FMLS admins have a lot of bugs to fix. ![]() -------------------- YFF: 2008-09 384th, 2009-10 125th, 2010-11 98th, 2011-12 120th, 2012-13 322nd, 2013-14 57th, 2014-15 21st

MLS is very tough so I quitted after just one season! ![]() It'll be even tougher this year with the new "rolling transfer" system where there is no hard deadline, and players don't lock until just before their game starts. Such a "hands-on" format would be really difficult to manage with the time difference between North America and Russia ![]() Not just that! It's tough even as solely a Fantasy Football game - sometimes you almost have no time to pick your team, let alone doing the searching... luck aside, you have to be skillful. One of the toughest FF games ever... I'd say the toughest! ![]() Still love MLS but as an observer now. ![]() TFC for the double? ![]() ![]() |

Did you use the same email address for both teams? Wondering why it is such a big deal to them ![]() No, not the same email address. I used a similar team name, Stokie Bloke and Stokie Fella and fielded identical squads. An obvious mistake of mine that was open to complaint. Still actually trying to sort out my two public ID's on the site that's slow to respond. But, i'll get there. -------------------- Winner of Sultans Euro League 2016/17

Only three gameweeks into the new MLS season. Very pleased to report bp9000 and Albert have made it into the top 5 overall MLS placings.
Albert's second team is quietly close by (but we don't talk about that) -------------------- Winner of Sultans Euro League 2016/17

Taught a lesson on how to select a successful MLS team in gameweek 7 by bp9000. Well done Sir and may your momentum continue. Team Brian Coral is currently second in a very strong Classic League and eighth in the Head to Head.

Team Brian Coral is currently second in a very strong Classic League and eighth in the Head to Head. Cheers Albert! Just to add, the team that leads the S11 Classic league is currently 3rd on the overall Fantasy MLS leaderboard. The H2H league has been very competitive as I have lost 3 of my 7 matches, even whilst currently sitting at 13th overall in FMLS. -------------------- YFF: 2008-09 384th, 2009-10 125th, 2010-11 98th, 2011-12 120th, 2012-13 322nd, 2013-14 57th, 2014-15 21st

I don't get this...can anyone explain better?!
QUOTE Can you explain how you can wait to see if Melia gets a clean sheet and if he doesn't transfer in Seitz?
ReplyShare2 replies0 3 hours ago MLS Fan I found that odd, too, cause once a game has started, if you selected a player in that game, you're stuck w/him. Unless there's some weird mechanism where you can have two keepers?!?! ReplyShare1 reply0 2 hours ago Jeff Johnson You put Melia in the keeper spot on your bench. If he does well, then simply leave a non-playing scrub in the starting keeper spot (or change out Seitz to a non-player) so that Melia will sub in at the end of the game week. If Melia does poorly, simply transfer Seitz into the starting keeper slot and as he plays you will take his score and leave Melia's on your bench. You can make any changes to the starting slot as long the player/team hasn't played yet. |

I don't get this...can anyone explain better?! This makes perfect sense if your squad has 3 goalkeepers and/or you have unlimited transfers. If you have 3 'keepers: 1. Good 'keeper 2. Good 'keeper 3. Non-playing 'keeper You put 'keeper 3 in your team, and have 1 and 2 as your bench 'keepers. If bench 'keeper 1 scores well you leave your team as is and his points will come in to replace the non-playing 'keeper 3. If bench 'keeper 1 scores badly you replace 'keeper 3 in your team with 'keeper 2. This post has been edited by PTC: Apr 20 2018, 11:59 PM |

If bench 'keeper 1 scores badly you replace 'keeper 3 in your team with 'keeper 2. But it looks like we can only have two goalkeepers? I just can't call it right at the moment, had a choice between dropping Besler or Opara to free up units and of course I kept no-show Opara ![]() |
