Overall Points: 1,280
Overall Rank: 358,525
Gameweek Points: 101

Taken 23 weeks for The Killer Week, last season it took 38! Rank halved and not too far off being in the game at last.
Moved early to Morata>Bobby to make sure I had enough to either bump Lingard to Sterling or Zanka to Alonso. But for Mata's wastefulness Lingard would have hauled last night and given he braced v bur recently and tends to perform better away I may just hold onto him a bit longer?
Alonso is terrifying not to own, always loitering in the danger area, every free-kick feels like a penalty and if I don't get him now I doubt I ever will. Attacking numbers off the scale, still only 0.3 up on his opening price, great run of fixtures as if that even matters with him. No brainer? huh.gif

Why bother with Jones, just go straight to Valencia ey? laugh.gif He's arguably overachieving on goals, underachieving on assists but considering Jones offers absolutely zilch on either, then that 1m extra is probably worth it tbh and an epic differential for those that can afford it. wink.gif

Cheers bud, sorry to nick your gold! laugh.gif Here's the thing though, if I wait it would have to be Daniels that goes and he should come in handy in 28 and around CL rotation so it's best that Zanka goes before Alonso rises.

Yeah, what is it about the 11 cleanies, 25 chances created and 45 goal attempts that attracted you to the 7.3m defender before the trip to Brighton? laugh.gif

Danilo at 5.0 another good option. Should get a safe run, and has always performed.
City have a good run of fixtures coming up and you've no City representation.
Dunno how you can get him though, and dunno how he'll start in the 11 too. laugh.gif

Alonso is surely the best value player in the EPL?

That he is a def makes him even more enticing!

He has two ways to perform in CS and goals/assists, whereas Salah and Kane don't have the first one...

Pep doesn't like him though so it's a bit iffy even when he likes a player laugh.gif
I'm hoping that by the time the Son sets Silva will be back properly, think they've missed his influence recently.

Oh Alonso? Value as in set & forget? DDG & Salah probably edge it but his underlying numbers are frightening, 5.7ppm isn't really conveying the risk of not owning.

By value, I mean pts per cost. The fact he doesn't take up an attacking spot is another bonus.

Pep might not like him, but with Mendy and Delph ruled out long term, does he have a choice?

Stats when playing more than 60 mins are very impressive.

Alonso had a slow start. Take out the first 9 GWs, and he's avg is 6.9 PPM since.

If Stones can settle down and Delph is out for ages there's good value there for 5m. Attacking numbers a bit meh but there was an assist threat surge @new so yeah, if you've a 5m spot to fill he's the one.

Just reading that Chelski are after Emerson (Laken) Palmieri - the really old farts will get that laugh.gif

A quick half arsed skim sees him as a 23yr old LB, currently just back from injury and is even behind 94 yr old Kolarov @Roma in the pecking order. This smells more of cover for Alonso - allows Kenedy to leave - than immediate direct competition.

I think Sterling is a bigger priority this week than Alonso personally.

If only I had a good reason to sell a midfielder for a hit? Maybe next week?

Mahrez is another one doing well, rarely blanks if lei score and a genuine differential - great fixtures... nice price and sounds like he maybe staying? If only we could mix the formation up to allow 6 or even 7 midfielders to start? laugh.gif

City have two gorgeous home games in a row. You have no City attacking coverage at all, let alone a City mid. United have got two tough away games in a row. You have two United midfielders. I'd say that's a good enough reason. I'd be willing to bet a significant amount that Sterling will outscore both Pogba and Lingard by 4 or more points over the next two gameweeks.
