Strewth that was ugly! I guess the best gloss I can put on it is... maybe not a bad week to have a bad week? Sheesh...
Too horrible to look back so let's press on. Obviously some major concerns developing but it's impossible to fix them all at once. The pressing concern of no citeh 'attack' has been dealt with last night, Phil>Silva, threw off just enough wedge to bump the hapless ruddy Kiko up to the nice steady Phil Jones. Yes it's a hit but prices will move to make it impossible very soon.
Rich is due a rest anyway so not too bothered if it's this week given his knock. I really need Morata back though, he makes Hazard 'work' and both benefit from each other. This bloody RLC & Niasse thing looks neither use nor ornament atm but with Pogba back soon it may have to wait. Who makes way for Pogba? It's looking like Rich via an Azpi sale but that needs assessing properly next week.
Captain? Looking like Hazard or Morata if back, if not I dunno, don't trust Klopp at all, Harry has a toughie, Silva maybe an option, tricky.

Got my eye on the following.

Adrian 4.3 - WHU are back (?). Fair run, bye, then a DG. A nice backup option for the MIA Elliot. Hopefully rotates well with existing GK.

Ogbonna, Klavan and Kenny 4.3-4. - 3 cheapos that should fill in at least 1 sport between them at the very worst.
They rotate well to make a decent 3rd DEF. Og seems nailed as Fonte is out. Klavan seems nailed as Matip is out and Lovren is shocking. Not much news about Coleman, so Kenny seems safe for now as well.

Christensen, Otamendi, Monreal, Jones 5.3-6.0 - Gotta have 2 of these. Christ and Jones are cheapest and seem to have excellent runs.

Pogba 7.9 - Rested, great run, has the PPM.
Silva, Sterling 8.2-3 - Maybe the best team ever in the EPL, and we don't have coverage. laugh.gif
But these two have had exceptional runs. Can they keep it up, or will they fizzle like Sane?

Richarlison - Best matchup of the season. Hope he's not given a rest this one. Still believe he will hattie this season.

FOR - They're all crap. Harry truly is a filler, as we need to have 3 FOR, but we'd take 8 MIDs if we could.

Oggie is probably the one for me but it will have to wait. Pogba is a tricky one to fit in if we have LIV/CHE/MAC/WAT in midfield, may have to be Rich that goes but ideally RLC,,, but that means bye bye Morata and hello Mr 7.2 who bloody well doesn't exist! laugh.gif

This isnít meant as having a go or anything but may I ask why you do a RMT every week? You always seem to have done your transfers before you open (ill advised this week considering you donít know the status on Morata or Richarlison). Wouldnít have gone near Jones personally. He played all the games earlier in the season because there were no other CBs available. Even then, Mourinho felt the need to rest Jones for the CL games. The chance of Jones getting rotated over Christmas is so so high in my opinion. As for your 11, Iíd probably take a punt on Niasse over RLC. Thereís probably a chance Sam goes with Niasse and DCL together or even Niasse on his own. Even if not, Iíd risk 30mins of Niasse over 90 from RLC

Just becomes a habit really, bit like smoking or drinking. Gets a few ideas going though, bit of chat, how's married life?
Not fussed about Rich this week as he's due a rest anyway but needed a good 2nd defender and citeh 'attacker'. Might take another hit if needed.

I was/am drinking, thinking can you have XI 'top' players in a team? It was something the Scouts on the podcast said, about maybe going it alone with Kane up top and 5 top midfielders.

Kane

Hazard
Salah
Silva
Pogba
Ramsey

Otamendi
Christensen
Jones
Mustafi
Klavan

Lloris

4-5-1

9 moves, headroom 0.9m over 2 x 4.5 FOR laugh.gif

Big 6 up top, Big 6 at the back... ohmy.gif

Probably a better balanced side was this. Prices up. Can still get it if you get Long for Ogb/Klav.

Have you tied the knot? Congrats. Given 54% of marriages end in divorce, you have a 46% chance of a great life and a 54% chance of going through a horrible period in life. Just sayin'. biggrin.gif

Have to agree about Jones. I doubt he'll play this weekend. Doubling up so soon after coming back.

Hope you're right about Niasse. I think the logic is there and I'll be starting him. Fresh legs in an easy fixture is the perfect time for Sam to give the regulars a breather.

Not a dig at all (sly or otherwise). To be honest, my point was more about how you always make transfers really early rather than doing a RMT. I love RMT threads and did one religiously when Yahoo was still going. Anyway, looks like we have good news on Morata.

Yeah VSB - got hitched two weeks ago just about. Thanks for the probability calculations....

Well he's the driving force behind Utd's increase in goals and better football. Note how they dip without him? He's scoring, assisting and developing into very fine player. For 7.9 on return there cannot be much better value?

I always enjoy Netters RMT thread, infact I always look for it the day after the end of a gameweek

Always good for an idea or two, sometimes even stops you from making the mistake of a transfer when you was going to pull the trigger tongue.gif
