Might as well start looking towards next week.

Plan is to take a -4 and do Kane and Son to Josh King and Shaqiri which will give me 10 players playing. West Brom are an utter mess so feel like doubling up on Bournemouth attackers is a good idea. I could take another hit and bring in a Stoke defender or maybe Baines/Coleman but I'm not sure that's worth it really.

Firmino
King
Wilson

Salah ©
Shaqiri
Walcott
Allen

Robertson
Francis

Lossl

Hey guys! Which one would you keep through week 31 -- Kun who now has a competitor in Jesus or Kane with some tough fixtures to come?

Didn't think yet... Either way, one of them is a must and better to keep the discount! wink.gif

I'm almost certainly going to wildcard in 32 because my team will look a mess with all these average players I've brought in laugh.gif

I don't know about you but I bought Kane for 12.7 and he's now 12.9 so my selling value is 12.8. I'd be very surprised if he didn't drop in price once this week with people who haven't planned selling him to get some players in. If I sell him before he drops, my buy back price and my selling price will be the same, so there's no need for me to keep him this week.

For me, Kun's and Kane's situations are similar - 11.7 and 12.7 selling prices which is +0.2

I will follow the market but right now I'd drop Harry...

Thought I'd give my thoughts on the teams playing this week. Think we should all do this, as it could really help us when making our selections.

Bournemouth - Feel like they're the best team to pick from after Liverpool. I was impressed with them against Spurs in the first half. They came unstuck in the end because they pressed us all over the pitch early on and lost their energy in the last 10-15 minutes. However, the main reason I think they're worth investing in is their opponents, West Brom. West Brom have completely stopped trying and once they concede one goal, more and more come. Wilson isn't in good form but seems relatively nailed, so is worth a bet for one week. King is the penalty taker and it seems he only was on the bench vs Spurs because he had some sort of niggle all week with his neck. Stanislas scored vs Spurs and should have had one more, he was impressive. Not sure I'd bother with a Bournemouth defender unless you already own one (I've had Francis for a few weeks), but if you want to, I'd recommend Adam Smith who got an assist vs Spurs and played right midfield.

West Brom - Absolutely no reason to consider any of them.

Huddersfield - Pretty disappointing performance from them last week. To play against 10 men for 80+ minutes and not score doesn't inspire a whole lot of confidence in their attacking assets. I'd probably focus on their defence and keeper if I was bringing one in. Schindler seems to get good bonus points when they get a CS and Lossl is worth considering if you need/want a keeper. If you want an attacking asset I'd probably go with Pritchard. Not sure I'd go with Mounie as Depoitre is there as competition.

Crystal Palace - With so many injuries it's at least easy to predict their lineup. Not sure I'd bring many if any of them in. Zaha is obviously a good player but will he play the full 90? He's probably the only one worth thinking about.

Stoke - Was actually quite impressed with them defensively last night. They conceded 2 but both goals were well worked from City and Butland only made a couple of saves in the 90 minutes. Again, their appeal is mainly due to their opponents, Everton, who have been atrocious away from home. Can't see many goals in this one so I'd probably look at Butland if you need a keeper, Bauer if you need a defender, and obviously Shaqiri who is well owned. Not sure I see anyone else though.

Everton - A good win last week but they've actually been pretty decent at home since Big Sam took over. It's away from home that they've been truly dreadful. Baines and Coleman are both back and I'd rather invest in one of them than Pickford. Walcott is well owned but is currently an injury doubt. Big Sam said it was only cramp so he should be ok. Not sure I'd be bringing him in if I didn't already have him though. Tosun is maybe worth a look but I feel like there is better attacking options than him from other teams.

Liverpool - Pretty easy here really. I think Firmino and Salah are essential and then it's your choice between Mane and a defender. I've had Robertson for months and he's done well for me, so my decision has already been made for me. If I didn't have 3 Liverpool already I'd probably go for Mane. Chances are that people will be taking a hit or two this week and it always seems better to do that for an attacking player than a defender.

Watford - Not really seeing much worth looking at considering the fixture. Femenia played right midfield vs Arsenal and did ok, and he's at a very good price. Deeney could be an option but only if you think they'll get another penalty really.

Hadergjonaj could be an interesting pick in defence, considering his attacking performance last week.

agree.gif According to Whoscored, Hadergonad put in put in 21 crosses vs Swans, with 7 being accurate. He was also credited with 7 "key passes." Of course, the opponent was down a man for most of the game so that might have been a big reason for the abundance of crosses.

I have to choose between Mane and Stan... but considering how many units I'll have I guess it's already decided.
