If Yoshi returns then his 3.7ppm becomes attractive @4.6 but depends who he replaces. Ideally his return bolsters the whole thing and helps Jack along with it.

Yoshi, Hoedt and Jack might all rotate. whistling.gif
Best to play it safe with VDH and save some pips. biggrin.gif

Saints fans don't seem to know who their worst defender is it's got so bad. Might as well throw Cedric & Bertie into the mix too, they come in for some fearful stick. Some even suggest Jack starts @rb laugh.gif Not going to obsess about the 15th squad player though, let's instead obsess about captaincy laugh.gif

Gooners win easily, Salah likely rested, plans altered? Can't see a need for Wenger to rest everyone bar Auba with such a comfortable lead (although Mkhi is out) so Auba stays. Not only does he stay he becomes cap. That's the easy bit.
Looking at potential Salah replacements is trickier, Vertonghen blocks Spurs as Kane is coming in 34. So for me it maybe best to just carry Mo into 33, covered by Barnesy - wanted this all to happen didn't I? laugh.gif - and give 34 some thought. Hopefully he's back for @mac in cl and then bou34 for his 29pts laugh.gif

Will lightning strike twice? I wonder how many players have scored a hattie so soon after a 4 bagger.
Kane is one that can hattie after a hattie, but I don't think there's many more, even Aguero.

The dgw field for Salah replacements with Vert blocking Alli/Erik is severely restricted here. Not sure that's a good thing but it does mean I want to keep him if it's just @eve he misses.

There is another way but it seems to create more problems than it solves laugh.gif Come 34, dump Salah & Auba for Alli & Lukaku. All well and good? Where's Kane though? FH35, get him for a hit 36 by dumping Lukaku & Son? In the bloody meantime what carnage is Salah doing v all these rubbish sides? laugh.gif Alli struggling again with Kane back? Kaku dgw? Yeah I remember that! laugh.gif

If Salah's fine for mac cl then he's staying, Kane is coming in 34, the rest is just risk risk risk risk isn't it?

Well Klopp certainly hasn't ruled Mo out. Just watched the presser and he said '24, well 23 hours, we'll see'. He said Ings could start but he also contradicts by saying he won't discuss rotation and he ends by saying if you're fit you're involved, only game that matters is the next laugh.gif and rotation is decided by the last game not the next. biggrin.gif

Thing is, it's the context, questions asked and how he replies so you have to judge it as whole and not just by isolated quotes.

Sounds like he might be in the squad but why would he risk him? He'd be barmy laugh.gif

Presumably Pearce was sitting there listening with his ears when Klopp didn't rule him out? Or maybe he said something afterwards to the print media that's embargoed and he's leaking it out. laugh.gif

Klopp on Salah fitness: "We try everything to make him available. There are still 24hrs to go before we start so let's see what happens."

That's not quite right, Klopp says 24, looks at his watch then says 23 laugh.gif

Anyway there's usually a leak so we should know if it's safe to benchwank start him, start him properly or just bench him if he's in the squad but not starting.

I think it's pretty clear that Salah isn't going to play tomorrow. And journalists are saying he won't play because they obviously know something that Klopp refused to say in the press conference (shock horror).

I know what you're doing though. You're trying to convince yourself (and others) that keeping Salah is the smart thing to do. The main reason you're doing this is because you can't get a Spurs midfielder in which makes the most sense to do if you were going to drop Salah. I'm betting your opinion would be different if you didn't have Vertonghen.

The way I see it:

33 - Alli 1 game vs Salah 0 games
34 - Alli 2 games vs Salah 1 game
35 - Irrelevant as we have the free hit
36 - Alli 1 game vs Salah 1 game. But, it's between the CL Semi final - Salah could easily get rested
37 - Alli 2 games vs Salah 1 game.
38 - Can easily do Mahrez to Salah if I need to.

33 - Barnes @wat
34 - Alli could be rested @bri a few days before the cup semi
36 - Mo could play v sto
37 - Other dgw options, Sterling?
38 - Can easily do Sterling to Salah if I need to.

Alli needs a good start mate, gl thumbsup.gif

Confused by your post.

Are you suggesting taking out Salah in 37? huh.gif

Also - we play Brighton on a Tuesday night with United the following Saturday evening. Really don't think there's a case for big rotation in that one. Plus, Poch cares most about PL and CL so it's highly unlikely he'd rest loads unless top 4 is assured by then, which is unlikely.

I think we both know that if Liverpool get to the semi-final, it's doubtful Salah will start in 36.

The Mo Boomerang in 37 is an option, heavily discussed in the wc rmt, of course.

Maybe, but mac then bri then mun in the space of 7 days does lend the possibility of a rest for some, @bri?

Maybe, sometimes it's best to keep the best player in a good rhythm, manage minutes rather than complete rest.
