Bloody hell. Even as poorly as my team did this week, that stupid blocked field goal the Denver D got to end the game put Grangetown over the top. Of course, any time it's Gophers versus Possums, you know it's going to be close, so an 87.90 - 86.82 final is not unexpected!

I can't resist some alternate endings that are, for me at least, just as obvious:
  1. Of course, any time it's Gophers versus Possums, you know ... you're eating quality road kill tonight
  2. Of course, any time it's Gophers versus Possums, you know ... someone ends up head-in-the-ground, butt-in-the-air
  3. Of course, any time it's Gophers versus Possums, you know ... the rest of the Rodent League is rooting for the stadium to collapse

I used to stay out late and try to walk the Muse home. Now I get up fresh-faced at 7 a.m. and take advantage of her while she's passing out.

I saw a baby possum in my back garden a few weeks ago.

At first glance I thought it was a very big, weird-looking rat.

True story.

Close. I think of them as were-rats. Best avoided during a full moon (and most other times).

To be fair, I only thought there we two players that were worth a high WW pick and those were Cohen and Allen so let's see.

Glad you're back on your feet though, all joking aside. Everything ok?

Yea trees down all over the place and whole bunch of debris, resident evil-ish scenes but we're ok... power outage was a pain but could've been much worse. Thanks thumbsup.gif

That's nothing. We just had Storm Arlene. A big tree fell into the river Taff last night and it woke my dogs up!

Is that where the term Taffy comes from?

I would guess so.

It runs from the Rhondda Valleys into Cardiff Bay )via the back of my parent's house)...

Which is nice.

If anyone interested in trading for David Johnson, hit me up with an offer.

May throw in Rogers as well if the price is right.

Did anyone pick up Bradford?

He has knee issues...again...and there are some doubts about him playing this weekend.
