Not doing fantasy, but I'll follow the race.

Gonna be between Froome and Doom for overall, although Lopez could shake things up if he climbs really well.

Outsiders for top 5: Bennett and Woods.

Viviani the only sprinter worth getting.

Pinot is in fine shape. I think there aren't enough TT km to hand it to Tom.

Just join the thing already. It takes less time if you can just check up on the scores with a click of the mouse. tongue.gif

Worried about Froome taking a fall before the race has begun?

Gambling he'll be the main man and not Chaves. That team looks scary good.

Froome needs to make it up in the mountains now. It's going to be interesting. I'm hedging my bets. I'll be ecstatic if Dumoulin wins again, otherwise Froome might make my fantasy Giro. Win-win.

Chaves Yates 1-2.

Yates could have won, but let Chaves have it.

Yates looks very, very good.

Froome struggling...but could work his way back into it.

Well, Froome is dead in this race.

Yates clearly the man to beat.

So, anyone been watching the Tour of California? Van Garderen took the lead via the Time Trial, but this Columbian kid, Egan Bernal, had all the Jerseys at one point. Yep, sprint points, mountain, young rider and overall. Naturally, he's on Team Sky (rich becoming richer and all that). Don't know if he's going to ride the Tour de France this year, but it's been an impressive ride so far. And the field this year is pretty strong (at least with Sprinters: Sagan, Kristoff, Cavendish, Ewan and Gaviria).

I used to stay out late and try to walk the Muse home. Now I get up fresh-faced at 7 a.m. and take advantage of her while she's passing out.

He's been on my radar for a while.

I can see him going to the TDF as a helper...but doing, really, really well. If not the TDF, he'll be unleashed at the Vuelta later in the year.

Reminds of when Nairo Quintana first appeared a few years back, and did great things as a newbie.

Froome sad.gif Still ging ok-ish though I clearly dropped the ball with not selecting Carapaz. Konrad is making up for it in part, so I'm still ok. Did well in selecting Yates and Pinot sofar.

I have to say, I'm not buying this new and improved Yates.

I hope I'm wrong, but something smells fishy...

Was thinking the same thing. He's young though, so it might still be a normal development. And let's not pretend the rest are riding without proper preparation.

I do like his aggressive style, though. Makes for good racing. smile.gif

Hopefully Doom can destroy him in the ITT, setting it all up for more racing in the mountains.

As I said, Froome and Doom.

Lopez is 4th as of today.

It was never in doubt. biggrin.gif

Now we wait to see if they find anything in Froome's samples...
