Something like this?

Patricio
Alonso Robertson Bennett
Salah Hazard D.Silva Martial
Aguero Arnautovic Wilson

Button Wan-Bissaka Hojbjerg Peltier

Template-busting? Not quite, but it certainly shifts funds further up.

Well DOherty is certainly a much bigger hitter than Bennett, so him in there would be a very productive back 3.
AWB good cover now that Palace are almost over their bad run of top 6 opponents.

I like the middle 4, but one can't help feel Fraser is great value. But given BOU run, maybe it's time to dump.
A few fails, and he'll be back down to 5.9 when his good run starts again.

Arnie looks juicy, but given his sporadic history with injury, one feels maybe Jimenez is a safer option. Could match him for pts, and would allow Fraser or Hojberg. Coming up to Xmas, a strong front 8 would be handy.

I don't think there's a template, and I don't think there will be. Just takes a cheapo to step up and an injury to a big gun and things can turn suddenly. Look at Barkley. whistling.gif

With Jonny out for 6 weeks (?) there's suddenly a bit of an injury problem at Wolves? Might just start Bennett (+ Rui) and replace Mendy with Laporte or Stones - would mean Jimenez could still come in at some point (3 max). huh.gif

Given Laporte or Stones are essentially placeholding for Mendy I guess the one nearer the Mendy price is best.

Laporte - 6m

Played every PL minute, xG90 is 0.13 so not too shabby, solid type!

Walker is an option too although his goal/assist threat stinks for such a lofty price, you need a 'good day' with him.

Can't help thinking those of us with Rui & Benny already have (more than) enough Wolves exposure though. rolleyes.gif

Maybe there's even a case for leaving Mendy be for now? ohmy.gif

One of those weeks that feels a bit like do nothing or take a hit, weird one. laugh.gif

Part (all) of the problem is that Bennett & AWB are coming into nice fixtures (while Mendy is out) - any real need to replace Mendy asap? Not sure there is tbh. huh.gif

I can afford a pip drop, so no rush for Mendy. It's the ones that will be scared of losing a pip that will rush it.

Then there's other injuries. If you can't field 11, he may as well go sooner than later.

Got a nice XI tbh as long as Martial is ok. Seems a shame not to play it for the sake of a pip. laugh.gif Approaching 105m so may just save the free and see what's what in 14.

Digne's strolling towards the top of the defender assist threat, he's the one.

Don't want him next week + Arnie return so have to settle to the 4.9/5.0 price tag... still decent and worth the wait.

P.S. Rotates with AWB well.

I note Willian sailing to the top of the assist threat! Considering he hardly ever gets a full game that's a heck of an achievement. Might be worth a very short-term cheeky punt @7.4 while Siggy & Richy are at Anfield.

I reckon that's the answer and they really take playing time into account. wink.gif

Yep, it's not a RMT thread, it's to highlight potential, ideallly with some reasons other than 'eye test' laugh.gif

Ok this week a makeweight, the Cardiff Murphy (4.8m). We've been here before with him but worth another look. I've read the WalesOnline reports and everyone's screaming for him to start v Saints.

It's a real punt but even going by the dreaded eye-test v bri a few games back I thought he looked lively when they stopped playing through the middle and passed it to him! laugh.gif

Lacazette - 9.6m

11 returns in 965' is clearly 'right up there' ohmy.gif

Limited minutes of late so always a risk but for those of us who can't quite reach Auba yet he's a nicely priced good striker in a side full of goals. v hud!, cap option too, well worth a go.
