And cheap, or reasonably priced.

And the signs to look for to ensure you don't spend too much quality time with a lady boy.

Yeah, about that: in bangkok atm. Anyone with less than obvious tips?

The food here is just awesome. Getting fatter by the day.

BRFC, the only place I've been that's on your list is Kunming. Which parts of Kunming will you be visiting? That place is really pretty and to be honest, probably the least polluted areas of China.

Eat the Thai food. Eat as much as you want, you won't put on weight.
Eat Maccas and BK and you will. laugh.gif

If I knew you were going to Thailand a lot earlier, I'd have given you a list of places to go to.

Nope. Many have undergone the snip and tuck.

Thanks ice, but that was my post from a couple of years ago you're referring to. Absolutely loved it in that area of China. Too bad you didn't catch my post back then smile.gif I'll be sure to pm you next time. We're thinking about flying on Chendu for a next trip to travel around that area.

Thanks VSB. Maybe next time eh? The food is awesome and I hate the burger chains. Som tam, tom ka kai and pad thai all day everyday! And yes, I know I'm spelling it wrong.

Nah, there's no right or wrong way to spell it. As long as people know what you're talking about.

There should be heaps of Shabushi chains in Bangkok. Visit one if you can. Check it out on the web first, but I'm sure you'll love it.

Visit Kobe as well. He's somewhere near Sukhumvit. laugh.gif

oh whoooops. tongue.gif my bad.

chengdu, you mean? obviously it is famous for the panda breeding center, but other than that, there's still quite a few things to do like sichuan food tasting or even cooking. there's also the giant buddha. i'm not sure if you're gonna be doing extra traveling, but if you are, jiuzhaigou is really worth visiting. just google image search it, and you'll know why it's worth going. highly recommend. thumbsup.gif

Yeah, we'd fly on Chengdu and start traveling from there. Hopefully for 4-5 weeks. But I'll be in touch once that plan comes to fruition.

Good call thumbsup.gif I remember him talking about sleeping in yurts and hardcore stuff like that a couple of years back. Seemed like a crazy adventure. Is he still around at times though?

PM him.

He has a team in the Arena competition, but isn't here too often, maybe once a week.

I'm travelling next week on vacation incidently.

My first visit to Canada. Couple in Toronto - standard Niagara falls (never seen it, so I guess I have to go).
But looking forward to the 3 days in Quebec city and around. Going to give this canyoning thingy a go. http://canyoning-quebec.com/en/

Have some undecided time in Toronto and Quebec City, any suggestions ?

as far as visiting waterfalls, the one at quebec city is really really worth going (Montmorency Falls), as you can go up close to really feel the water splashing at you. i'd wear a jacket so you don't get soaked. rent a car and google your way there. there's a cafe up there and the burger is worth trying. i thoroughly enjoyed this much more than the visit to niagara falls. oh and speaking of which, the niagara falls has got a much better view from the toronto side, rather than the new york side.

quebec city is well known for its french-canadian food. stroll along the old town and look for some hidden gems. there's one that's right in the middle of a garden called toast if i remember correctly. the picture vaguely resembles my memory. biggrin.gif
