What a weird year. So much money available and I can't think of a MID I want, other than KDB. Mount, Grealish, McGinn, Bernard all cheap and will skyrocket, but there's no one to flip them for.

I like Mount, he's worth keeping. I'll likely get him next week.

QUOTE (vsberlina @ Aug 25 2019, 10:07 AM) *
Might have to spend the cash on DEF. Robbo should be a lot cheaper given he hasn't kept a CS or been involved in a goal. Might almost get him for a straight flip with one of the fillers like Mings or Burns.

'pool defenders will be excellent, but their less than stellar start is handy, price-wise.

I think so too. Even McGinn and the misc pts scorer Grealish.
Grealish will pop up for the odd goal involvement too.
His big chances created stats aren't too bad. If Wesley gets going, he might drag him along.

I guess Eriksen and Alii will become good options with time. If Erik can stay a little quiet today, I might flip Bernard for him.

As for Pukki, shouldn't be too long to flip him for Sterling. Salah and Kane worth keeping for now.

Jesus gone for a while. Makes Aguero nailed.
Given he and Sterling are listed as FOR, I think Aguero is the one to get as he scores more goals.
Aguero is the PK taker and there's no assist given for a PKW, so it makes Sterling even less attractive.
Chuck in their price difference, and it seems a no-brainer?

Time to burn Burns. Conceding 3-4 at City will probably see him go backwards in price.
Thinking Emerson might be a straight swap punt. CHE don't look good for a CS, but he's got good attacking stats. Might get one.

For those without Pool DEF, Matip looks good value. Might go up even if they concede.
If they CS, he'll get the pts and skyrocket in price.

Brought in TAA and Haller

Figure TAA has to start firing soon and hes had a price drop too, if he can CS and assist price will shoot.
Haller hasn't played 3 yet so hoping he performs again this weekend and his price rockets

Robbo is due and he went down in price. TAA still expensive, though given goal involvements are pretty generous to defenders, he might be worth the extra. But this early, I'd go for coin and be happy with a CS.

No need to punt on Haller. Just get Aguero. So many good options. Even Mane is a better bet than Haller. Save the transfers.

Buried Dick in a hole his Diggers couldn't dig their way out of biggrin.gif

The Aguero pick up went well, Mount not so much... but he's a season keeper bar injury. Question now is, is the Pukki Party over?

laugh.gif

Yeah. He backed Kane. Kane got one, but Aguero went ballistic. He got his capt right and got Matip right too.
It was probably your James in the end that buried him.

I grew some big balls and left Gomez captain, hoping he wouldn't see time as I had Aguero vice. Made my season. biggrin.gif
I could have easily got his 2 pts off the bench x 2 for 4 pts instead of the 56 I ended up with Aguero. smile.gif

You and I are top 10. Gotta stop doing this. People will insist we're the same person. laugh.gif

I think we've been here before with good, early starts. We finished well, but probably blew chances to win this too early on.
I think this time it's different. Only 20 pts off top, with loads of transfers and shed loads of coin to spare.
The muppets above us got Pukki's week 2 pts, and that's probably been the difference.

For me, the Pukki party is over. A straight flip to Sterling is just too obvious, given they play each other.

So little CS, there's a plethora of DEF we can pick.
For me, maybe Robbo is due. Adrian as a GK is another option.
The only other transfer I'd contemplate is my Bernard for Eriksen.

You might have connections with Greeks and Italians, but you're nothing to the Germans (seriously, you have more Greek friends than I do).

You need luck to win this thing, and that might just have been my turning point (Better go see Ashley and Martin).

I agree Pukki will get 12-14 goals this season, but he's got 5 already, so that means there's 7-9 left.
Time to cash him in and jump on the next bullet train. I think the price difference is only 1.6m now, so easy flip.
His big game pts are going to drop off this week, so if he blanks, he might fall significantly.
Sterling's big game pts already dropped off, so he could rise again. I think the timing is right.

Probably time to flip this week. Pukki's price is higher than Sterling's, but both now have quite high BEs. That said, Pukki has a nice enough fixture that to keep him one more week might not be the end of the world... However, Sterling could explode at any time.

Decisions, decisions thinking.gif

Little value in midfield, Eriksen, maybe, or another moneymaker for a week or so..

Defence is largely uninspiring bar the Liverpool crew and maybe Slabhead.
