God that's tough to follow, cheers WALOR! laugh.gif

Still on guitars then? laugh.gif

I thought Squire did some gloriously shimmering guitar on this, felt it made it epic.

Came here and listened to a little gentle guitar that Walor posted earlier and of course you can't visit Youtube without being sidetracked and listening watching something else..
On this occasion I ended up watching the Deam Theater Drummer auditions, gotta love this thread! biggrin.gif

I hate Youtube.

Last night I went there, looking for tips and techniques for acid staining concrete.

I ended up spending an hour watching old comedy clips from Shooting Stars. angry.gif

Some R&B remixes I've found lately and been playing the heck out of:

Supremes "Love is Like an Itching in My Heart" - drawn out, they way it ought to be heard:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2WxSIL7RRQ

"My World is Empty" - Mary Wilson sooo cool:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z14qfKkfUV0

"Same Old Song" - not remixed, but such a treat to see them perform it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uS2nWLz-AbE

The REAL Princess Diana, Hungover, Sublime. This is my ringtone:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94p6a2rLCOc

and a remix from a Frenchman that has my mind blown;
The Black National Anthem, transformed:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxuojQJYDOA

and ABC:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b-FyvUJsFE

An odd band, tight yet not quite... pub rock, punk rock, new wave, rock, pop! Bit like the Motors but they did this!

In a similar vein this was a bit punk but they weren't... I think Island got them onto a lot of TV in '77 with this but it was a sham, good song though and not a bad band https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUYkHNAtXTI

First songs of the year? ohmy.gif I know RAPID's been away but this is seriously bad, and I'm as much to blame! laugh.gif

Been a bit lazy this year on music, not heard much new stuff. There's an LP (Shepherd in a Sheepskin Vest) by Bill Callahan (Smog) that I've been listening to that has a nice lo-fi alt-country feel, he's getting older and settling down I guess.

KUTX have done a live promo last week, couple of tracks. Watch Me Get Married & The Ballad Of The Hulk.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGT0huvuM0M
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2yE9x--1cg

As for his older stuff? Cold Blooded Old Times, brutal but probably his best.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guvEcq7TE-8
