No. I had a claustrophobic fit at the Falcons / Lions game season before last. Put me off. Plus the bar near Wembley was closed so we couldn't buy beer for the bus. The trip back was dreadful.

Twikenham would have been cool though. Older stadium so likely more claustrophobic friendly. Plus loads of pubs near it. Whose playing there again? Rams and someone is it?

No beer for ride home sounds just terrible. biggrin.gif

Rams vs. Giants.

There is also a game in Mexico in November - Texans vs. Raiders.

Rams vs. Giants.

Could be good. If Gurley and OBJ are playing.

There was no Megatron when we watched the Lions, was a bit of a shame.

That was still a pretty good game despite this. thumbsup.gif And even that's so MUCH better than watching Megatron being used as a decoy ALL BLEEDING game even when they're getting trounced a la their Wembley visit last season (and it becomes the ultimate experience when you've got Stafford rolling as your starting QB in fantasy). rolleyes.gif sad.gif

Hey all, season is almost here!!!

If Bell lasts until the second pick of the second round I'll probably take him. Am more concerned with when someone pulls the trigger on Foster. I have a round in my mind for him, but expect someone to go a bit nuts.

Anyway, glad I have a late pick. I'm pretty comfortable with WR/WR or WR/RB with my first two picks. Not sure what will happen if the Gronk is about at 11th though!

Fergs said it was something to do with the paint on the pitch becoming too hard? unsure.gif

That's the official line. I'll admit that my household is stricken with its biannual Olympic fever, so I haven't paid much attention.

It's a silly game, anyway, especially in early August Midwest heat, when the air is so thick with humidity you need a machete (hat-tip Danny Trejo) to cut it and the sun blazes down like Apollo is looking for Icarus.

It's been warm (really warm) in my parts (3 or 4 hours south of the HoF game). I'm sure there are plenty of players who aren't upset, at all, that they got to skip that game and hope things cool down before the next one.

That's a lot of words to describe 'hot', and not once did you say muggy. Disappointing.

For me, muggy is a better description of a Kardashian's behavior when a camera is around. But sure, I can understand your disappointment.
