Luckily, I just checked the leagues and discovered that someone had dropped out of the H2H. It took five minutes to have the place snapped up on the MLS Fantasy Boss Forum in the USA.
The Classic is standing with 21 teams at the moment. All looking good again

thumbsup.gif When I started using that site midway through last season, my overall ranking shot up and I ended up 28th overall which was quite pleasing to me. dance.gif

Wow, I just saw that we get unlimited transfers every week this season ohmy.gif The last 2 years there were 2 transfers per week with unlimited transfers during a few selected weeks.

This is a bit reminiscent of YFF biggrin.gif

Just was about to post that my team was set 'for the season', then I saw the rules... but somehow I don't want to touch a thing - need to get into it and the newbies are often lucky! biggrin.gif

Oh yeah I follow the Sounders, but not a diehard supporter like many hipsters and soccer moms here tongue.gif Great suppport though, March to the Match before every game includes big numbers of fans marching from Pioneer Square to the stadium, almost as many as a at Trump Rally (in his mind).....

I have been to a bunch of games with my kids over the years, and the team have been to the playoffs every season since joining MLS in 2009 and finally won the MLS Cup last season. Also won the Supporters Shield (regular season title) a few years ago as well. 4 Open Cup trophies since 2009 as well.

Anyway to answer your question, my new favorite player is Lodeiro who was signed midseason last year and in 3 months brought them from bottom of the league table to the playoffs to MLS Cup champion. He was sublime, I took my son and younger daughter to his first game vs Galaxy and he dominated play even with the Galaxy's star lineup on the field.

Along with Dempsey and the young phenom Morris, I also like Alonso and Roldan (local boy), and Tyrone Mears was excellent last season at right back, but he has moved on. Joevin Jones is a good young attacking fullback who will also be in my team from time to time.

Great idea to have a practice week...much harder to call teams' chances than in the Premier League. Although even I could see that Minnesota were going to find it tough!

In yesterday's loss, IMHO Jones was the Sounders' man of the match in the 2nd half though it was not reflected in his points.

Doesn't get much tougher than having your first ever league game on the road at Portland, with all their passionate fans and such. Won the title the year before last and aiming to bounce back from last season's poor title defense.

Atlanta is the other new expansion team, but they get to open at home tonight, vs NY Red Bulls.
